1) To see if the Town will amendment the Stratham Zoning Ordinance which would amend Section 3.1 Establishment of Districts and Section 3.2 Location and add new sections, Section 3.4.15 Gateway Commercial Business District and Section 3.8 Gateway Commercial Business District.

Common Questions and the Answers

  • How can I become a registered voter in the town of Stratham?
    You can register to vote by going to the Town Clerk's office in the Municipal Center during normal business hours (Mon 8:30 am - 7 pm, Tu-Th 8:30 am - 4 pm, Fri 8:00 am-12:30 pm) or attend one of the posted meetings of the Supervisors of the Checklist. It is recommended that you bring some form of photo identification, proof of residence and proof of citizenship such as a birth certificate, passport or a voter registration card. If you don't have access to these documents, you may sign a citizenship affadavit at the Town Clerk's Office.

  • Where is the Municipal Center?
    The Municipal Center, housing the Town Offices and the Library, is at 10 Bunker Hill Ave. in Stratham. Bunker Hill Ave. is off of Rte 108/Portsmouth Avenue. (Directions)

  • How can I run for town office?
    First, you must be a registered voter in Stratham. You must register to run for any elected position at the town offices during the annual filing period. There may be a fee. The filing period is usually the last week in January. Please call the town offices at 772-4741 for more information.
