OPENING
BUSINESS
Members present: Becky
Mitchell, chair; alternate Bev Connolly; Flossy Wiggin (new member and third
alternate).
Meeting: The meeting was
opened at 6:30
and was adjourned at 8:10
pm
Minutes: Taken by secretary,
Nancy Hansen, at the June 12 meeting were read and filed with no
corrections. The chair mentioned that
future HC minutes will be posted as a separate page on the Wigging Library
website. Minutes of
this meeting taken by Bev Connolly in Hansen’s absence.
Treasury: There was nothing new to report from the
month of June.

OLD
BUSINESS:
Veterans’ Project: A short discussion
of the veterans’ project was held with the prospect of having an “information
sheet” available as well as newspaper publicity.
Historical Resources Survey: Sara
L. Kellner and Becky Mitchell went to the Division of Historical Resources in Concord
and did additional scanning of the 30 properties recorded during the pipeline
expansion. This information is an
excellent start toward the Commission’s survey work.
Planning Board: The
chair announced that MJ Werner had nothing to report.
Master Plan: Bev Connolly went
over updated sections in the archaeological and historical titles for the
Master Plan. Becky will do the National
Historic Register section for September’s meeting. The “recommendations” section was discussed
at length. It will be considerably
briefer than it exists currently.
