OPENING BUSINESS
Members present: Becky Mitchell, chair, Nancy Hansen, treasurer; Planning Board rep., MJ Werner; secretary, Sara L. Kellner
Meeting: The meeting was opened at 5:30 and was adjourned at 6:15 pm.

Minutes: Minutes of the 11 March meeting, written by the former secretary, Nancy L. Hansen, were accepted as written.

Treasury Report: No report.

Next meeting: Tuesday, 13 May 2008, 5:30pm in the EOC room.

OLD BUSINESS

NH Preservation Alliance Spring conference: To be held 11 April, Friday, in Plymouth. Becky Mitchell, MJ Werner, and Nancy Hansen to attend. Travel plans: participants plan to meet at 6:15 am at the Town Office.

Master Plan: Report on how to fulfill the archaeology and agriculture goals

Planning Board: 2008 goals, MJ updated the HC.

Historical Resources Survey & HCPP grant application: B. Mitchell updated the SHS on the status of the grant. The HCPP grant is ready to be sent; the members present voted affirmatively on the use of $2450 of the HC 2008 budget toward the over-all amount requested in the grant.

Veteran’s Garden: Use of recent bequest on hold.

NEW BUSINESS

Announcements:

1.) Roadside Cleanup Day, Sat. April 19^th, hosted by the Stratham Conservation Commission

2.) SHS Appraisal Day, Sunday April 13^th at Fire Station

Meeting in May: The next meeting will take place in the EOC room on the second Tuesday of the month (13 May) at 5:30pm.
