R.E.A.D.® Program - Jessie & Friends Reading Corner |
Reading Education Assistance Dogs - Jessie and Friends Reading Corner
| Through the READ program, children have been shown to improve their reading skills
by reading to registered therapy dogs. We are proud to have many dogs participating in READ at the Wiggin Memorial Library. Kids and their families are
invited to sign up for times to read to Jessie, Hannah, Maizie and other great dogs in the children's room. Books for Sale: We still have a limited number of copies of Jessie the Fabulous R.E.A.D. Dog for sale at the library. Books cost $15.00 and all profits (above printing costs) go to support the R.E.A.D. and storytime programs at the library and the Stratham NHSPCA.
