contains information on wage and
employment trends, occupational requirements, and state-by-state labor
market conditions. Its online career resource library contains over
5,000 keyword searchable links. Part of an award-winning suite of web-based
tools developed by the U.S. Department of Labor in partnership with the

Best Jobs New Hampshire
http://www.bestjobsnewhampshire.com/ lets you search by location,
job category and keyword to find the "best job" for you. Includes
company profiles and allows job seekers to place resumes online for potential
employers to view.
New Hampshire Employment Security
web site http://www.nhes.state.nh.us/ contains information on unemployment
benefits, economic and industry information about New Hampshire, and a
calendar of job fairs around the state.

Periodicals
For classified ads, check the library's newspaper collection.
The library has print versions of the following newspapers. You can
also access the online editions by clicking on the links below:
The August 2002 issue of Kiplinger's
personal finance (ISSN 1528-9729) features a cover story called "Dream
jobs." The magazine interviews nine individuals who get paid to do
what they love most.
To find other magazine articles related to careers and job hunting,
you can search the Ebsco Magazine,
Journal and Newspaper databases. For a description of each one of these
databases, click on the "Need Help?" link in the upper right corner of
the screen. For General periodical searches, choose "Ebscohost Web."
You will then be directed to a list of databases from which to choose.
MasterFILE Premier, the most general database, contains the full text of
over 1,900 periodicals and is a great place to begin your search.
