To Renew Items from the Library Website:
1) From the library home page (http://www.wigginml.org) click on the link
to the catalog
(it says “Search, Renew, Request using our Catalog” under the Reader image on
the left side of the web page)
2) You will come to the Quick
Search Athena screen, with an orange
“Access Patron Info” link on the lower left side of the page (you may
need to scroll down to see it). Click on that orange Access Patron info box.

3) You will get a pop-up window asking for your library card number
(patron ID) and last name (surname). Once you enter those and click on
“Select”, you will be looking at your library record of what you have out,
anything you have reserved, etc.
4) To renew items, click on the boxes next to any items you want to
renew and at the bottom of the list, click on “Renew Selected Items.” When
an item has been renewed, you will see an “OK” in the box next to that
item. If an item is not able to be
renewed online, you will see a red “X” in the box next to that item.
Reasons why something would
not renew online:

The item is overdue. Anything
in the list that has a red due date is already overdue and can’t be renewed
on-line – you can call us at the library to renew those. Anything that
has a due date in black can be renewed if no one is waiting for it.

The item has a reserve on it and another
patron is waiting for it.
·
Interlibrary Loan Item: We
ask that you PLEASE not renew any ILL books online, because we need to get the
permission of the lending library to extend the due date first.
