Library Info
Book Sale
We have two library book sales per year (fall and spring). Proceeds from the sale support the purchase of new items for the
library collection or special fundraising efforts. We have thousands of donated items - books, audiobooks, movies and music! - separated
into easily browsable categories. You can also purchase some delicious home-baked goods from the Friends of the Library bake sale! Sales
take place in the Stratham Municipal Center at 10 Bunker Hill Ave., Stratham NH.

October 2009 Book Sale: Thank you for your support! The Library made $1,636.00 and the Friends of the Library made $350.65.

Hours:
Friday 3/26: 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Saturday 3/27: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Prices: $1.00 each for all items OR 7 items for $5.00 OR buy a canvas Library Tote for $15 and fill with books!

***Special Preview for FRIENDS***
Friday, 3/26, 9 a.m. - 10 a.m.: Friends of the Library (only $10 to join!!) will get a special preview of everything for sale. Great chance to pick
up the best deals at the sale! Not a Friend of the Library yet? Simply bring your $10.00 to join and you can be at the preview hour!
Next book sale will be scheduled in October 2010.
Volunteer Opportunities:
- Thurs. 3/25, 5:00 p.m.: Help moving boxes from remote location to library. Will need strong arms & backs as well as a couple
of good sized trucks/vehicles. Contact: Tricia, tricia@wigginml.org, 772-4346.
- Fri. 3/26, 8:30 a.m.: Help setting up and organizing books on tables. Will need strong arms & backs as well as dollies/handtrucks.

- Fri. 3/26 - Sat. 3/27: Volunteers to sell & restock books (etc.), bake sale goods. Contact: Tricia, tricia@wigginml.org, 772-4346.

Donations:
We appreciate your donations of items for our booksale. We review all donations first for possible addition to the library collection or donation
to another organization.
We cannot accept:
- Textbooks
- Encyclopedias
- Reader's Digest Condensed Books
- Damaged or Moldy/Musty items
We especially appreciate contemporary novels, genre fiction (mysteries, sci fi), and current nonfiction. Cookbooks, Crafts, Home Repair and
Children's Books are always big sellers.
Donations can only be accepted during library hours: Monday - Friday 10 am - 8 pm, Saturdays 10 am - 1 pm. If you have a large number of donations,
please notify us in advance (772-4346, library@wigginml.org).
Donations to the Library can be tax deductible. We have receipts available for all donations. Please ask at the main desk.
