Draft Minutes of the Board of Trustees Meeting

Tuesday, November 13, 2007

A regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Trustees took place November 13, 2007, at the library. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM.

Persons in attendance: Chair/Trustee, David Sallet, Treasurer/Trustee Vic Collinino, Trustee, Don Hatch, Trustee, Carig Wark, Library Director, Lesley Kimball, Assistant Library Director, Tricia Ryden. Absent: Secretary/Trustee Carol Gulla

· Action Items

· The firm of Dennis Mires Architects has been selected to do the municipal center study. The report is due mid-January 2008 in time to be reviewed and presented at the annual town meeting in March.

· The Trustees reviewed and discussed the 2008 library budget. The budget has been submitted to the Town Administrator.

· The Trustees elected not to hold an December meeting.

· New Business

· There was no new business presented.

· Reports and FYIs

· The Secretary’s report was reviewed and accepted.

· The Treasurer’s report was reviewed and accepted.

· The Director’s report was reviewed and discussed. Highlights were:

· Circulation with renewals is up 2%

· Library survey is going out with the town tax bills

· Final budget submitted to the Town Administrator

· Library will have a Holiday tree again this year.

· Executive Session

· There was no Executive Session

· The meeting adjourned at 7:37 PM.

· The next meeting is JANUARY 8^th, 2008 at 7:00 PM.
