· Reports and FYIs

· The Treasurer’s report was reviewed.
· Director’s Report, highlights
· Circulation in January, 2008 increased by 2% over January of 2007, 8596 vs. 8457. Renewals increased 3%, 6266 vs. 6068
· Renewals were tracked separately to account for the downward trend seen in circulation that is attributed to the ‘no fines’ policy. In the past, renewals have counted in the circulation numbers. Without fines, there are not as many renewals.
· Lesley Kimball is continuing to correspond with Dennis Mires about the building study and the library’s current situation and future needs.
· A draft of the library survey results was discussed.
